W.P.(CRL) 2281/2018 and Crl.M.A. No. 28949/2018 By this petition, the petitioner challenges the order dated 12th July, 2018 passed by the Delhi Medical Council whereby the Council has confirmed the punishment of removal of name awarded to Dr. Rakesh Bhatnagar vide the registration with the Delhi Medical Council for a period of three years.

As per Section 24 (2) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, the petitioner has a remedy to file an appeal against the order of the Medical W.P.(CRL) 2281/2018

Council removing the name of doctor from the State Medical Register. In view of the fact that an alternative remedy of filing an appeal to the Central Government is available, this Court finds no ground to entertain the petition.

Petition is disposed off with liberty to take remedies as available in Law.
