Counsels for the parties jointly state that during the pendency of the present petition, petitioners No.1, 2, 3 and 6 have already been appointed as Constable (GD) by the respondent No.4/CRPF and the petitioner No.4 shall be issued a letter of appointment by the end of January, 2018. As for the petitioner No.5, it is stated that he has to undergo a physical test and medical test for which the process has commenced and is likely to be concluded in the month of January, 2018 itself.

In view of the submission made hereinabove, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition, which is accordingly disposed of alongwith the pending application.

If the petitioners No.4 and 5, on clearing their physical examination and the medical test are not issued appointment letters, then they shall be entitled to approach the Court for relief.
