This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "(a) Issue an appropriate writ/orders/directions whereby quashing/withdrawing the demolition notice dt. 19.10.2011 of the Respondent No.1& 2 DDA;
(b) issue an appropriate writ/orders/directions whereby restraining the Respondents not to demolish the jhuggies of the petitioners situated at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Camp, Paschimpuri, New Delhi without allotting them alternative plot/ land as per the earlier directions of this Hon'ble Court and policy of rehabilitation/ relocation of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi;

(c) issue an appropriate writ/orders/directions whereby grant all monetary compensation and relief to the petitioners for their rehabilitation/ relocation as sanctioned by law in case jhuggies are demolished;...."

It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioners are jhuggi dwellers of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Jhuggi Jhopdi Camp, Paschimpuri, New Delhi-110063 and were threatened by demolition notice dated 19.10.2011.

It is contended in the petition that they have a settled position in the camp and have election voter card, ration card, smart card, insurance card, electricity connection etc. In the alternative, the petitioners have sought any other accommodation.

The Court, vide order dated 19.12.2011 directed the petitioners to produce relevant documents to establish the identity for allotment of any alternate accommodation:- "5.
In view of the above, respondent No.1/DDA is directed to fix a date and time within a period of one week, under intimation to all the concerned jhuggi dwellers, who form a part of their survey list, requiring them to produce before it, the relevant documents to establish their identity, so as to entitle them to an alternate allotment.
Simultaneously, respondent No.1/DDA shall take necessary steps to identify the areas where it proposes to relocate the identified jhuggi dwellers in a time bound manner. There is nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioners. 6.
Ms. Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent DDA, states that the said exercise was undertaken by the respondent and after detailed analysis and scrutiny of documents, 20 persons were found eligible. Thereafter, out of the 20 persons, only 13 persons were verified for alternate accommodation.
The DDA has granted alternate accommodation to those 13 successful allottees. Out of the 5 petitioners, only the petitioner No.2 was found eligible within those 13 persons.

In this view of the matter, from the facts narrated above, it seems that the prayers sought in the writ petition have been satisfied. 8.
