% 18.01.2016 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition may be dismissed as withdrawn, provided the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 invite fresh tenders for the subject catering service either by itself or through the Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation (respondent No.3) on the completion of the period of 18 months under which the respondent No.4 is operating the catering service. The said period of 18 months would expire on 27.03.2016. We have heard this matter for some time and we feel that the direction that is being sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is a reasonable one and goes towards the ends of fairness and competitiveness for the award of the catering service. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid direction.
