O R D E R
% 08.08.2016 This petition seeks payment of arrears of pay due to the petitioner along with interest till the date of payment. In W.P.(C) No.3123/2011, this Court by order dated 6.3.2013 had directed the respondent school to pay the interest @ 9% per annum if the dues of the petitioner were not paid within three months of the order. Since dues have not been paid, therefore, the interest has become payable. Learned counsel for the respondent states, on instructions, that an amount of Rs.6,00,000/- shall be paid to the petitioner within 10 days from today by way of a demand draft and the same shall be delivered to the learned counsel for the petitioner in her chamber. The balance amount shall be paid in five equal instalments beginning from 15th September, directly into the bank account of the petitioner Ms.Madhu
Kalra, Punjab & Sind Bank, Guruharkirishan School Branch, Vasant Vihar, Account No.0951000001441. For every infraction in payment of either the amount of Rs.6,00,000/- or the subsequent instalments, , the respondent school shall further pay the petitioner Rs.25,000/- for each such default into the said account. The instalments shall first be adjusted towards the interest.
Mr.Jasmeet Singh, learned counsel for the respondent school assures the Court that this order shall be duly complied with. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives in the petition. It is, accordingly, disposed off.
