% 02.08.2016 Issue notice. Learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. Respondent No.2 is present in person. He is identified by Mr. Rishi Pal, Advocate, whose Vakalatnama is on record.

This petition has been filed to seek quashing of the FIR No.239/2016 under Section 323/ 308/ 34 IPC registered at PS - Mundka. The petition is premised on settlement arrived at between the petitioners accused and the respondent No.2 complainant. It is seen that the injuries suffered by respondent No.2 were found to be grievous.

Respondent No.2 is present in Court and states that the parties have arrived at settlement and he does not wish to proceed any further in the matter.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further in the matter. In view of the fact that injuries are grievous, the petition is allowed subject to payment of Costs of Rs.30,000/- into the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
