By way of the present application, the applicant/respondent has placed on record a Settlement Agreement dated 15.10.2025, by which the disputes between the parties have been amicably resolved through mediation.

The Settlement Agreement has been duly signed by the authorised representative of the appellant, respondent in person, their respective learned counsel, as well as the learned Mediator. 3.
Learned counsel for the parties jointly request that the present appeal be disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement. 4.
By order dated 17.12.2013, this Court granted a stay on the execution of the impugned award dated 25.09.2013, subject to the condition that the awarded amount alongwith up-to-date interest be MAC.APP. 1167/2013 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. deposited with the Registrar General of this Court. Upon such deposit, the Registrar General was directed to release 60% of the awarded amount in favour of the respondents herein [claimants before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal ("the Tribunal")] in accordance with the terms and conditions fixed by the Tribunal.

Pursuant thereto, the balance 40% of the awarded amount remains deposited with this Court.

In terms of the Settlement Agreement, the parties have agreed that a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- out of the amount lying deposited shall be released in favour of the appellant, and the remaining amount alongwith accrued interest shall be released in favour of the respondent. 7.
In view of the aforesaid settlement, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the Registry to release a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- out of the amount lying deposited to the appellant, and the balance amount, alongwith accrued interest, to the respondent.
