% 18.01.2018 The present petition has been received on transfer. The present petition essentially assails the conduct of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (for short 'ITBP') inasmuch as it is asserted that no Cadre Review of Group- 'Á' Service has been finalised, despite passage of time. In this behalf, an Inter Office Note, authored by the Deputy Inspector General (Org.) Directorate General, ITBP dated 17th January, 2018, has been handed over in Court today, with an advance copy to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners.

A perusal of the same reflects that presently a Cadre Review Proposal of Group-'A' Service is pending with ITBP and is in final stage of completion. It is further observed and it has been stated that the said EDP W.P.(C) 3645/2015

Cadre Review Proposal will be submitted to the MHA in the near future. On a specific query, it has been stated on behalf of the ITBP that they shall finalise the said Cadre Review Proposal of Group-'A' Service, within a period of two months from today and submit the same to the Ministry of Home Affairs (for short 'MHA') for necessary compliance. Directed accordingly. No further direction is called for, at this stage. The writ petition is disposed of, while reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court, in the event, the proposal for Cadre Review of Group-'A' Service is not made, as undertaken by the ITBP.
