% 17.10.2017 Petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 are sisters. Petitioner no. 4 is husband of petitioner no. 1. Petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are their children. A quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 on some trivial matter, which led to registration of the present FIR no.2728/2015 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC at Police Station Shakarpur on the complaint of respondent no.2. With the intervention of elders in the family and other relatives, petitioners and respondent no. 2 are stated to have settled their disputes amicably;

therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Shri Gopal of Police Station Shakarpur. She says that she

has now settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the above fact and more particularly the fact that a civil dispute arose between the family members, which they have now settled amicably in order to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest of justice, FIR no.2728/2015 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Shakarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
