% 09.03.2024 Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 18.04.2016 passed by the learned Tribunal.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that the appellant(s) shall be entitled to further lump sum enhancement of compensation of Rs.11,75,000/- over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final settlement. The respondent New India Assurance Company Limited is granted 06 weeks' time to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs.11,75,000/- before the Registrar General of Delhi High Court failing which the Insurance Company shall be liable to pay 9% interest on delayed deposit.

The enhanced deposit amount be released to the appellant (s) forthwith as per the proportions of the award and subject to fulfilment all the requisite formalities.

The present appeal along with the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of with directions in terms of the foregoing settlement.

A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
