Present petition has been filed by the complainant under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.68/2014 registered under Sections 354D/509 IPC at PS Lodi Colony. It is stated that she has settled the dispute amicably with the respondent No.2 / accused before Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi vide settlement agreement dated 02.08.2016.

The petitioner is present with her counsel. I have enquired from CRL.M.C. 1473/2017

her if she has settled the dispute with the respondent No.2 amicably without any fear or pressure. She has informed that the dispute with respondent No.2 has been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. Respondent No.2 related to the petitioner also informs that the matter has been settled with the petitioner.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement agreement dated 02.08.2016 has been placed on record. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.68/2014 registered under Sections 354D/509 IPC at PS Lodi Colony and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
