The operation of the impugned order dated 12.11.2009 passed by the Central Information Commission ('CIC') was stayed by this Court on 30.11.2009. The said interim order was made absolute vide order dated 21.02.2014.

It appears that the respondent has lost interest in obtaining the information, it had originally sought for, in its RTI Application dated 01.05.2008. In the absence of the respondent contesting the present petition, there is no reason to deal with the legal issue involved herein. 4.

The aforenoted interim orders are, therefore, confirmed and in terms thereto, the petition stands disposed of.
