BAIL APPLN. No. 1579/2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no role has been assigned in the FIR to the petitioner of firing in air by any weapon. The role has been assigned to the co-accused. It is further submitted that no one got hurt in the incident.
Learned APP submits that statement of complainant under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was got recorded , wherein she reiterated what she stated in the
FIR.
Besides this, she also stated that, one day prior to the incident, petitioner along with co-accused and one more person had visited her and told her that Mr. Bhatti had given them `2,00,000/- to kill her. In view of the role assigned to the petitioner in the FIR coupled with the fact that he is in custody since 21st June, 2016, petitioner is admitted to bail, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of trial court.
Application is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
