We are informed by Mr. J.P. Sengh, learned Senior Counsel who appears for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 that the respondents on the 21st of March, 2018 have issued the Recruitment and Conditions of Service Order (No. 1 of 2018) which prescribes the methods of recruitment and eligibility conditions for appointment to the posts of Secretary, Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.

In view of this development, the primary prayer made in the writ petition stands satisfied and the petition and pending application are disposed of accordingly.
