BAIL APPLN. 1781/2018 The additional public prosecutor (APP) seeks to explain that previous FIR No.434/2014 was wrongly registered by Police Station Chhawla on 23.07.2014 on the basis of reminder sent by the complainant Raj Bala with reference to her earlier complaint dated 05.08.2013 and this discrepancy having come to notice, the previous FIR was closed and fresh FIR on the original complaint was registered vide FIR No.666/2014 in Police Station Chhawla. The APP further submits that he would need to have a detailed status report of the steps taken in investigation till date but the petitioner has not been co-operating with the investigating process. BAIL APPLN. 1781/2018

The counsel for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the petitioner has been joining investigation and has been fully co-operating till date, though he undertakes to do so as and when required in future also. In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when called upon by the investigating officer to do so. In case, the investigating officer intends to arrest the petitioner in the present case, he shall be given a prior notice of seven working days. The petition stands disposed of in above terms.
