% 31.07.2018 Issue notice. Mr. Anuj Aggarwal, Addl. Standing Counsel for the respondents accepts notice.

The petitioner seeks directions to the respondents for return of the sums deposited with the VAT Authorities as pre-deposited and also a certain amount paid under the Amnesty Scheme. Further, interest is also claimed.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has instructions to state that the petitioner's request for refund with interest due, in accordance with law, would be processed and the amounts due and payable would be refunded. In these circumstances, the respondent-DVAT Authorities are hereby directed to complete the

task expeditiously/preferably within six weeks and return the amounts due, in accordance with law, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms along with the pending application.
