% 29.09.2016 W.P.(C) 8129/2014 and CM No.35878/2016(interim direction) Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 submits that the respondent No.1 has agreed to recognize/approve all pre-2012 IGNOU qualified Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course degrees issued by Indira Gandhi National Open University.

It is submitted that in case the petitioners fulfil the said criteria, the degrees of the petitioners shall be recognized for all purposes. The statement is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing for Indira Gandhi National Open University submits that the respondent No.1 is obliged to recognize all WP(C) No.8129/2014

pre-2013 degrees in view of the judgment in W.P.(C) 1644/2011 dated 27.09.2013 titled Jincy Joy And Anr versus Indira Gandhi National Open University & Others..

Since the issue pertains to only pre-2012 degrees, I am not considering the said issue in this petition.

In view of the above statement, the petition is disposed of by holding that the degrees of the petitioners, for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course, issued by the Indira Gandhi National Open University are, pre-2012, are recognized.
