Status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report the family of the petitioner comprising of his mother and brother were found residing in H. No. C-146, Gali No. 8, Prem Vihar, Karawal Nagar, Delhi.

A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner was acquitted by the learned Trial Court and in a leave to appeal petitions filed by the State and the complainant, the judgment of acquittal was set aside and the W.P.(CRL) 2325/2018

petitioner has been convicted for offences punishable under Section 302 IPC and 25 & 27 of the Arms Act and awarded life imprisonment. 5.

As per the nominal roll, the petitioner has been in custody for more than 6 years 4 months plus remissions of 10 months. Considering the fact that out of the period already undergone the petitioner is in continuous custody from 7th January, 2015, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner.

The petitioner was earlier released on parole in W.P. (Crl) 2259/2016 which concession he did not misuse.

Petition is disposed of directing that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹5,000/- with a surety bond of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.
