This is a joint petition moved by the parties for extension of time. 3.

The record shows that the learned Arbitrator was appointed by virtue of order passed by this Court dated 20.01.2017. Communication by the parties in that behalf was received on 27.01.2017. 4.

The record also shows that on 06.02.2018, parties mutually consented to extension of time for making the award by a period of 6 months. 5.

I am also informed that the proceedings are at the stage of evidence. O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 171/2018

In these circumstances, counsel for the parties jointly pray that the period for pronouncement and publication of the award be extended by 6 months.

Having regard to the assertions made in the petition and the submissions of the counsel for the parties, the prayer made is allowed. 8.

The learned Arbitrator will have time for pronouncement and publication of the award till 31.01.2019.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 10.
