The present is an application under Section 151 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 ("CPC") filed on behalf of respondent no. 4 for recalling the present proceedings and recording the compliance of the judgment dated th May, 2022 passed by the Supreme Court.

passed by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 418/2014. The judgment dated 24th August, 2016 was challenged by the University of Delhi by filing Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court. 3.

It is submitted that subsequently, the Supreme Court vide its common th judgment dated 10 May, 2022 has finally decided the issues in batch of petitions.

The University of Delhi vide letter dated 17 that there were total of 35 pension beneficiaries from 9 colleges, who had also filed contempt petitions before this Court. Thus, as per the letter dated 17th March, 2023 issued by the University of Delhi, total arrears amounting to Rs. 33,32,302/- was payable to the petitioners. 5.

It is submitted that the University Grants Commission ("UGC") upon receipt of the aforesaid letter has disbursed the requisite amounts to the colleges for payment of pension due to the various petitioners. Thus, in view of the aforesaid facts, it is submitted that the UGC has duly complied with th the judgment dated 10 May, 2022 passed by the Supreme Court of India. 6.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by learned counsel appearing for Union of India and University of Delhi. They submit that they have no objection if the present application is allowed.

None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 9.

It is pointed out that since the requisite compliances have already been done in terms of the judgment dated 10th May, 2022 passed by the Supreme Court of India, therefore, the petitioner may not be appearing on that account.

In that view of the matter, the present application is allowed. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
