DCP, Central District appeared and submitted that he has already initiated action against the Investigating Officer/Station House Officer and also submitted that necessary instructions, in writing, are going to be circulated to all the police stations under his command within one week. The DCP is directed to file a copy of the instructions, which shall be issued by him, on the file of this case, within two weeks. The DCP assured that, in future, no such lapse shall take place.

In view of the above submissions and the assurances given by the DCP, the matter is closed.
