Learned proxy counsel for learned Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to distribute the property amongst his children and to re-establish social ties. 4.

A status report has been filed. As per the status report, the family of the petitioner was found residing in House No.C-30/4, Gali No.7, Jyoti Colony, Loni Road, Shahdara Delhi which belongs to the petitioner however no documentary proof thereof has been given. A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner has been convicted for offences punishable under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and W.P.(CRL) 2288/2018

awarded sentence of rigorous imprisonment for three years out of which he has already undergone one year, three months and twenty days including remissions.

Considering the nominal roll of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has roots in the society, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.
