% 18.09.2018 W.P.(CRL) 2284/2018 and Crl.M.A. No. 32123/2018 By the present petition, the petitioner had sought parole to re-establish social ties, however, during the pendency in the present petition seeking release on parole the petitioner filed another application being Crl.M.A. No. 32123/2018 seeking interim protection so as to attend the brother's wedding which is fixed for 19th September, 2018.

Status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report the petitioner is a permanent resident of village Khanka (Medoora), Tehsil Tral, PS Avantipora, Distt. Pulwama, J&K. As per the status report the co-convict of the petitioner who was released on parole did not surrender, jumped the same and joined Jaish a terrorist organisation and finally died in an encounter on 26th December, 2017. Considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner as also the conduct of the co-convict, this Court does not find it a fit case to grant parole to the petitioner even for the marriage of his brother. Petition and application are dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
