Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.422/2015 registered under Sections 279/337 IPC at PS Najafgarh. Status report is on record. Offence under Section 337 IPC has been compounded before the Trial Court. Order dated 05.04.2016 reflects that `20,000/- have been paid to the complainant pursuant to the settlement.

Complainant / respondent No.2 is present in person and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the complainant if he has settled the dispute with the petitioner amicably without any fear or pressure. He has informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with his free consent and he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. CRL.M.C. 2831/2016

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. No purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings as the main offence under Section 337 IPC has been compounded by the complainant. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.422/2015 registered under Section 279 IPC at PS Najafgarh and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
