W.P.(C) 3216/2017 The challenge in this writ petition is to the communication issued by the respondent-AICTE dated April 11, 2017.

At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that there is a typographical error in the impugned communication dated April 11, 2017 inasmuch the petitioner is not required to appear before the Standing Appellate Committee but before the Standing Hearing Committee. The aforesaid statement is taken on record.

Mr. Amitesh Kumar states, the other grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has been called for hearing on April 14, 2017, which happens to be a „Good Friday‟. On this submission, learned counsel for the respondent states that the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a representation to the authorities, for shifting the date of hearing to any other convenient date and such a representation shall be favourably considered. This statement is also taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, Mr. Kumar states, nothing survives in the petition and same may be disposed of. The petition is disposed of as such. Dasti under the signature of Court Master.

CM No. 14006/2017 (for stay) Dismissed as infructuous.
