Challenge is to a pro-tem order dated May 05, 2016. Pending decision in an application filed by the respondent under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 the appellant has been directed to pay to the respondent maintenance in sum of ₹15,000/- per month.

Since application under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has yet to be decided, with consent of learned counsel for the parties we dispose MAT.APP.(F.C.) 125/2016
of the appeal directing that instead of ₹15,000/- per month directed vide impugned order to be paid by the appellant to the respondent he shall pay ₹7,000/- per month from the date respondent filed the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

The learned Judge, Family Court is directed to decide the application filed by the respondent under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 within two months from today.

Amount received by the respondent from the appellant shall be set off against the sum, if any, finally directed to be paid. 5.
Parties shall file a joint application seeking preponement of the proceedings before the learned Judge, Family Court. 6.
No costs.
