Mediation settlement dated 20th March, 2017 has been received from Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Appellant, who appears in person, is identified by the learned counsel for the appellant. The appellant has also shown his PAN Card and F Card issued by the department of Custom and has placed on record the photostat copies thereof. The mediation settlement is confirmed by the appellant as also by the learned counsel for the appellant. As per this mediation settlement, a sum of Rs.8,96,250/- deposited by the appellant with the Registry is to be released to the respondent. It is also agreed that the respondent shall withdraw the complaint filed by him under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pending before Sh.Sunil Kumar, Ld.MM, Rohini Courts, Delhi. 2.

As the matter is settled, the Registrar General is directed to release the amount of Rs.8,96,250/- to the respondent. The respondent shall withdraw the complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act on

the next date of hearing. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the next date is 6th June, 2017 before the same court. 3.

The appeal and application stand disposed of in terms of the mediation settlement.

The appellant shall get the refund of the court fees as provided under Section 16 of the Court Fees Act, 1870. Let the Registrar General issue necessary certificate for refund of the court fee to the appellant. Dasti. VINOD GOEL, J.
