The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the passport application of the petitioner would be processed in accordance with the Office Memorandum dated 25.07.2018, whereby it has been directed that the passport applications of all the persons, who had applied for political asylum/refugee status in a foreign country and had been deported, would be processed.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except to direct that the application filed by the petitioner shall be processed in a time bound manner. It is, accordingly, directed that the said application be processed within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. The pending application is also disposed of.
