% 05.12.2016 In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought extension of his posting at the 25th Batallion by a period of one year on the ground of medical treatment of his wife who is undergoing IVF treatment. In view of the submission made on 23rd August, 2016 that the petitioner's wife was not in a position to travel for a period of 7 months this Court directed the respondents to seek instructions as to whether some time could be granted to the petitioner. It appears that pursuant to the directions to obtain instructions, an order dated 9.9.2016 has been passed whereby the transfer order of the petitioner has been deferred till 31st March, 2017 on compassionate ground for medical treatment of his wife.

The photocopy of the order dated 9.9.2016 be tagged to the records.

The writ petition has thus become infructuous and the same is disposed of.
