Settlement Agreement dated 05.02.2018 has been received from Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre by which the parties have amicably resolved and settled their all disputes. As per the Settlement Agreement, the petitioner/Management company has agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.2,38,573/- to respondent No.2/workman in full and final settlement of his all claims.

Pursuant to the settlement, today, Mr.Banwari Lal Nagpal, Managing Director of the petitioner company through his counsel Ms.Yashmeet Kaur has handed over a cheque No.000625 dated 08.02.2018 for Rs.2,38,573/- drawn on Bank of Baroda to respondent No.2.

In terms of the Settlement Agreement, the petition and CM APPL. 28451/2016 are disposed of. The parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the Settlement Agreement. The petitioner company shall

ensure that the cheque is honoured when it is presented for encashment by respondent No.2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 20.07.2016 of this Court, they had deposited the awarded amount with the Registry of this Court and the same may be released. Request would be considered after encashment of the cheque.
