% 26.09.2016 Gulafsha has appeared in person and had interacted with Ms. Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate representing Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee. Mohd. Naeem, husband of Gulafsha is also present in the Court.
Gulafsha has stated that she wants to go and reside with her parents. She has also alleged that she is being beaten up and tortured by Mohd. Naeem. Gulafsha can go with her parents, who are also present in the Court.
Mohd. Naeem states that the jewellery, cash and other
expensive articles belonging to Gulfsa will be handed over and given to Gulfsa. Rashid, brother of Gulafsha along with a police officer will visit the residence of Mohd. Naeem, where jewellery, cash and other expensive articles given at the time of marriage and belonging to Gulafsha will be handed over to him. A list of those articles will be prepared.
Telephone number of a police officer will be made available and furnished to Gulafsha and Mohd. Islam and in case, there is need and requirement, they can call the said police officer on the phone. SHO of the police station concerned will examine the threat perception and take appropriate action.
The writ petition is disposed of.
