This petition concerns the petitioner's candidature for promotion to the post of Principal of respondent No. 1 - Delhi Police Public School ["the School"] in the Departmental Promotion Committee ["DPC"] held on 27.11.2015.

Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner, instructed by the petitioner who is present in Court, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, without prejudice to the petitioner's contentions in W.P.(C) 8017/2023. W.P.(C) 8017/2023 concerns the petitioner's Annual Confidential Report ["ACR"] for the year 2019-20, which would affect his future promotion.
