% 05.09.2016 The present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 21st May, 2014 passed in WP(C)1148/2014 whereby the Chief Secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD) was directed to issue necessary directions for cleaning the village pond.

Today, learned additional standing counsel for GNCTD has handed over photographs which indicate that the pond has not only been

cleaned but also barricaded. Consequently, the present contempt petition and pending application are closed and the notices issued are discharged.
