Prayer in the present petition reads as under: "a. Issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside the advertisement dated NIL of the Special Secretary (Home) of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and the notification dated 29.01.2018 of the Special Secretary (Home)".

Since tenure of the authority, constituted pursuant to aforesaid advertisement, is already over, the legal issue, sought to be canvassed, is only of academic importance which can be looked into in an appropriate proceeding.
