CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 14.05.2015 Petitioner no. 1 has married petitioner no. 2 against the wishes of her father and other family members. Petitioners have approached this Court by this writ petition praying therein that respondents be directed not to interfere in their life; not to register a case against the petitioner no. 2 or his family members.

Respondent no. 4, father of the petitioner no.1, is a resident of Bihar and has already filed an FIR No. 35/2015 on 2nd April, 2015 in Police Station Basopatti, District Madhubani, Bihar. Petitioners may have to

approach the concerned court in relation to the said FIR. Petitioners are presently living in Delhi at the address given in the memo of parties.

In the admission card and mark-sheet issued by Bihar School Examination Board, Patna, the date of birth of petitioner no. 1 has been mentioned as 7th December, 1996, which indicates that she is major as on the date of marriage in the Arya Samaj Sewa Mandal (Regd.), Jagat Puri, East Delhi solemnized on 14th April, 2015. Respondent nos. 4 and 5 are not residents of Delhi.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that petitioners have been provided telephone numbers of Beat Constable/Divisional Officer/Station House Officer, P.S. Jagat Puri to whom they may contact in case of any threat received by them from the respondent nos. 4 and 5. It is further submitted that Beat Constable has already been sensitized and would enquire about the welfare of the petitioners by visiting their address at least once a day.

This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with the directions to Station House Officer, P.S. Jagat Puri to ensure the safety of petitioners. A.K. PATHAK, J.
