This Rent Control Revision Petition under Section 25B(8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 was preferred against the order dated 2nd August, 2014 of the Court of Additional Rent Controller (ARC)-1 (Central), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in E No.333/13/12 of grant of leave to defend to the respondents.

The petition was entertained and notice thereof issued. 3.

None appeared for the petitioner on the last date of hearing. None has appeared for the petitioner today also.

The counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner, on 13th February, 2017, has withdrawn the petition for eviction from which this Rent Control Revision Petition arises. He has in this regard handed over the application filed by the petitioner as well as the proceedings of the Court of ARC on 13th February, 2017 and which are taken on record. 5.

Accepting the statement of the counsel for the respondents, the petition is dismissed as infructuous.
