O R D E R

% 09.08.2016 The petitioner is stated to be a squatter vending opposite shop No. S-4, Mini Market, Sarojini Nagar Market. Submission is that he is still squatting at site. His further submission is that he is protected under Section 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the prosecution challans filed by the petitioner do not create any right in his favour. Further submission is that the site has not been mentioned in the aforenoted challans. Further submission of the Department is that two persons cannot run one stall as his the averments contained in the present petition; the brother of the petitioner cannot join hands

with the petitioner to run his stall.

Be that as it may, noting the above submission and the fact that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of respondent No. 1 has been constituted, the petitioner may address his grievance before the TVC, if any.

No further orders are called for on this petition which is disposed of.
