% 10.08.2016 The petitioner is stated to be a squatter opposite shop No. S-21, Mini Market, Sarojini Nagar Market. To substantiate this plea, he has placed on record a challan of August, 2013. His further submission that he is protected under Section 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the prosecution challan filed by the petitioner does not create any right in his favour. His further submission is that the TVC qua the New Delhi Municipal Council.
Be that as it may, noting the above submission and the fact that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of respondent No. 1 has been
constituted, the petitioner may address his grievance before the TVC, if any.
No further orders are called for on this petition which is disposed of.
