W.P.(C) 6940/2016 & C.M. No.28515/2016 (stay) Petitioner is stated to be a squatter having Tehbazari rights at T-1, Mini Market, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi. In support of her stand certain documents w.e.f. 2008 to 2011 have been filed on record which as per the respondent no.1 are prosecution challans and they do not create any right in favour of the petitioner. Further submission of the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 is that the
site has also not been mentioned in the aforenoted documents. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is protected under Section 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. Additional submission being that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) qua respondent no.1 has since been constituted.
The last submission is not in dispute. This petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the TVC who shall answer the grievance of the petitioner. Petition disposed of.
