This petition under Section 29A (5) read with Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the „Act‟) has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have been arisen between the parties.

The learned counsel for the respondent submits that without in any manner admitting the contents of the petition, the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court. 3.

In view of the submissions made, the time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator is extended by further period of 15 months with effect from 02.12.2017.

The petition is allowed in the above terms and with no order as to costs. 5.
