% 10.08.2016 Crl.M.A.12347/2016 (Exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

Application is disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 2358/2016 Marital discord between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 had led to registration of the present FIR No.60/2013 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at CAW Cell, Nanank Pura. Petitioner nos.2 & 3 are the relatives of petitioner no.1 Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably and their marriage has already been dissolved

on 2nd July, 2016 by a decree of divorce by mutual consent. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ved Prakash PS CAW Cell, Nanak Pura.

Respondent no.2 admits having received the entire settled amount. Respondent no.2 further submits that she has no objection in case the present FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably and their marriage has already been dissolved, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, the present FIR No.60/2013 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at CAW Cell, Nanank Pura and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
