The appellant is seeking correction of the judgment dated 28th July, 2017.

Learned counsel for the appellants submits that the interest awarded to the appellants has not been mentioned in para 15 of the impugned judgment. Para 15 of the impugned judgment is corrected to the extent that the compensation amount of Rs.26,07,957/- shall carry the interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition. The corrected para 15 of the judgment shall read as under:

"15.

MAC.APP.889/2016 is allowed and the award amount is enhanced from Rs.21,62,467/- to Rs.26,07,957/-. The compensation amount of Rs.26,07,957/- shall carry the interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of the claim petition. MAC.APP.278/2015 is dismissed."

Learned counsel for the appellant seeks enhancement of the multiplier from 11 to 13 on the ground that the age of the deceased was 50 years. This

point was not urged at the time of the hearing. That apart, this Court is of the view that the compensation awarded to the appellant is just, fair and reasonable and does not warrant any enhancement. 4.

Application is disposed of.
