By this petition the petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground that his daughter's surgery is to be performed. The petitioner has been allegedly arrested for being in possession of 23.400 kgs. Ganja on which FIR No. 980/2017 under Sections 20/25/29 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act (in short 'NDPS Act') was registered at PS Badarpur, Delhi. 2.

As per the status report filed, besides being involved in the present case under the NDPS Act, the petitioner is involved in 13 other cases out of which two are under NDPS Act. Thus the requirement of Section 37 of the NDPS Act not being complied with, this Court finds no ground to grant interim bail to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.
