1. There is a petition seeking leave to appeal against the judgment dated 06.06.2018 arising out of FIR No.781/2014 wherein the learned Trial Court acquitted the respondent/accused for the offences under Section 354A (iv)/354D/509 of IPC on the ground that there are improvements and contradictions in the testimonies of the complainants (Ms. P/PW1 and Ms. K/PW2) and does not inspire confidence.

2. In the present case, the contradictions as pointed out between PW1 and PW2 are of the nature that the witnesses did not corroborate the words used by the accused which amounted to outraging their modesty.

not repeat the said words, but categorically stated that the respondent used filthy language.

4. The respondent was represented by counsel, the counter affidavit is on record, but nobody is appearing on behalf of the respondent.

5. I am of the view that the issue needs consideration.

6. For the said reasons, the leave to appeal is granted to challenge the judgment dated 06.06.2018.
