letter bearing No.F8/SCJ-8&9/AS(CT)/2016/1400 dated 05.08.2016 has been received from Superintendent, Central Jail No.8/9, Tihar, New Delhi to the effect that the appellant - Matira @ Kiran Pal has served out the sentence awarded to him and has been released from the jail on 29.07.2016 after fine was paid by him in jail. 3.

Mr.Anwesh Madhukar, Amicus Curiae, informs that the appellant has not contacted him to pursue the appeal after his release on 29.07.2016. It appears that the appellant is not interested in the prosecution of the appeal as he has already served out the sentence awarded to him. The appeal has become infructuous and is disposed of as such.
