% 08.09.2016 The petitioner has preferred the present application to seek anticipatory bail apprehending arrest in case FIR 615/2016 registered u/s 392/397/34 IPC. The status report has been received. The complainant/ informant is also present in court. He is identified by the I.O.
The submission of the petitioner is that the petitioner and the complainant have entered into a settlement dated 27.07.2016 and have agreed for quashing of the FIR against the petitioner. The complainant, who is present in court, states that it was not the petitioner who was involved in the crime.
In the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner is entitled to grant of protection at this stage. Accordingly, in case of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing of personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. This is subject to the condition that he shall join the investigation as and when called for. The petitioner shall not contract the complainant and shall not seek to influence him in any manner.
