% 09.08.2016 W.P.(C) 7021/2016 & CM No.28908/2016(stay) The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider and finalize the request of the petitioner for admission in M.Com First Semester for the Session 2016-2017.
It is contended by the petitioner that several representations have been given to the respondents, however, the same have not been decided. Reference is made to representation dated 26.07.2016, which has been routed through the Vice Chancellor.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the representation is decided in favour of the petitioner, substantial relief would be available to the petitioner. Issue notice.
Notice is accepted by the counsel appearing for the respondents.
The respondents are directed to decide the representation dated W.P.(C) 7021/2016
26.07.2016 submitted by the petitioner within a period of two days. In case representation is decided in favour of the petitioner, consequential relief shall also be granted to the petitioner by the respondents in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by any decision on the representation, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of such remedies as may be available in law. The petitioner would also be at liberty to approach this Court in case the representation is not decided by the respondents within two days.
