% 18.04.2017 CM No.14446/2017 (Exemption) Exemption allowed, subject to just exceptions. LPA 280/2017 and CM No.14445/2017 1.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that he confines the present appeal to a prayer for reduction of the costs imposed by the impugned judgment dated 30th March, 2017. 2.

It is submitted that the appellant is in dire straits and is not even able to pay the amount of Rs.15,000/- directed to be paid as costs by the learned Single Judge in the impugned judgment.

On the consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and having regard the financial penury of the appellant, it is directed that the order of payment of costs upto 30th March, 2017 is modified and the appellant is required to deposit costs quantified at Rs.500/- in terms of the judgment dated 30th March, 2017. The proof of deposit shall be filed in the Registry within two weeks from today.

The appeal is disposed of in the above terms. The pending application also stands disposed of.
