Issue notice. Ms. Salwan accepts notice on behalf of the Judgment Debtor/respondent.

Learned counsel for the Judgment Debtor/respondent says that she has no objection to the prayer made in the petition. 4.

Accordingly, the learned counsel says that she does not wish to file a reply to the petition.

To be noted, the averment made in the petition is that the sole Arbitrator who has been appointed by this Court vide order dated 3.2.2017, entered upon reference on 15.2.2017.

Since the statutory period of twelve (12) months expired on 14.2.2018, without conclusion of arbitration proceedings, with the consent of the parties, the time for rendering an award was extended by a period of six (6) months.

It is submitted by counsel for the parties that the matter is at the stage of arguments.

Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner says that the time for rendering the award be extended uptil 31.10.2018. 9.

As indicated above, counsel for the respondent does not object to the prayer made in that behalf.

Consequently, in view of the submission made before me and assertions made in the petition, the prayer made therein is allowed. 11.

The time for rendering the award is extended till 31.10.2018. 12.
