In the short affidavit filed by the Respondents, apart from objecting to the delay and laches in the Petitioner approaching the Court for relief, it is stated in para 8 that as a general candidate the Petitioner scored 48 marks which was less than the cut off for all the forces that could be opted for. Therefore, even on merits, the Petitioner does not make the cut.

2. The Court does not find any ground for interference.

3. The petition is dismissed.
